Ever since orkut disabled their right-click feature on the photo album, I regularly get query from my friends about how to save photos from Orkut album.
so far the easiest way that I’ve discovered to save picture from Orkut album is in following 3 steps -
Step 1 - Open Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox or Google Chrome or any browser with TAB feature
Step 2 - Open you Orkut album and one blank new TAB
Step 3 - left click on picture and drag that to new tab, then right click and SAVE.
How??
It’s Simple, all you have to do is log on to your account and copy and paste following code to your browser then follow the instructions,
Orkut has just launched new feature – updates notifier of your friends, I found this new feed system just like of Facebook’s News feed, an ace over Orkut which I think they have just realized and added this new feature.

Orkut has announced latest updation to the site: A brand new look!
“Just as you change your profile picture to keep with the times, we’re updating the look of orkut.”
Colour theme is same as it is - The Orkut blue. They have added some rounded corners and new icons that make orkut look a little more sleek and modern
From next week Orkut is rolling it out to groups of users at a time.
I’ve just discovered that, we can now paste in photos, videos, audio, and flash widgets in scraps book of Orkut. it’s amazing….. but i hope this won’t give extra edge to spammers….
- Add images
Copy and paste urls ending in .jpg, .gif, .png or .bmp and the image will appear in the scrap.
for example, http://example.com/example.jpg
- Add videos from YouTube and Google Video
Copy and paste the url and the video will appear in the scrap.
for example, http://youtube.com/watch?v=videoid
- Add podcast/audio
Copy and paste the url of an audio file and an audio player will appear in the scrap.
for example, http://example.com/example.mp3
- Add html-embeddable objects
Create or upload your content at sites such as photobucket.com, imageshack.com, rockyou.com or slide.com. Copy and paste the html embed code to share it with your friends.
