This is no secret that Facebook is growing like anything it has got more than 400 million active users and 50% of our active users log on to Facebook in any given day and some people predicted that it’ll cross 700 million by the end of the 2010 and If I’m not wrong than total internet users in world is around 1.9 billion that makes 37% of total net users using Facebook well the percentage ain’t looking big but the number 700 million is huge which means that world will be divided into two halves inside Facebook and outside Facebook which makes Facebook next big thing after Google. Lets see how far it can go. I LIKES it

Something wrong with Godaddy?

Lately I was trying to book new domain for my new project with godaddy and every time I tried I found that it was taken. Then I felt suspicious as I was trying with very unique name which I guess nobody can think of and with my all wonder they were all taken. Then I tried with random characters & numbers and guess what they were all taken just have look the following screen shot.

Update: I again tried at different browser, this time I got all the domain name that were showing taken before on previous browser but again after 4 successful trial, it again started showing taken disorder then I again tried with random characters and it again showed the taken thing. I guess there is nothing wrong with godaddy but they are playing smart.

10 years of Indian Railway Site

Today When I tried to check my PNR status in PNR Enquiry status of Indian Railway site, I just shocked to see drastic makeover of it. So far their site was like designed by KG class web designer. But now it is pretty good, They should have done it before as it is India’s most surfed and most trusted site so the pride and honor of country is also linked with it but it’s never late to start something good, I guess we all were waiting for Mamta Banerjee‘s Railway Ministry. Later I tried to find their upadates of site design in web archive throughout their web history. I found following amazing patterns of 10 years of Indian Railway site.

Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010.

Speed, simplicity and security are the key aspects of Google Chrome OS. We’re designing the OS to be fast and lightweight, to start up and get you onto the web in a few seconds. The user interface is minimal to stay out of your way, and most of the user experience takes place on the web. And as we did for the Google Chrome browser, we are going back to the basics and completely redesigning the underlying security architecture of the OS so that users don’t have to deal with viruses, malware and security updates. It should just work

Google Chrome OS will run on both x86 as well as ARM chips and we are working with multiple OEMs to bring a number of netbooks to market next year. The software architecture is simple — Google Chrome running within a new windowing system on top of a Linux kernel.

Steorn is changing to Steirn

Today I’ve got a late reminder from Steorn for joining the first 300 participants in the Steorn Knowledge Development Base (“SKDB”).

but when I checked subject of the mail I found Steirn 300 instead of Steorn.

I know it’s a typo but still if they are going to save the world with their new revolutionary breakthrough ORBO free energy technology then they should be little cautious with everything they do.

next time double check Mr. Sean,

I’m dying to see working model of ORBO.

Half-Inch Thick Mobile Projector From 3M

3M has thrown its hat (albeit a little late) into the mobile projector ring with the likes of Texas Instruments and Microvision with a new ultra-compact, LED-illuminated projection engine that can project a 40-inch or larger image at VGA resolution. The device is intended to be integrated into a wide array of mobile technologies—and cellphones are undoubtedly at the top of that list. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long for the technology to arrive. The device is already available and 3M is planning on partnering with various electronics manufacturers to release products in early 2008.-GIZMODO [Press Release]

* $2.84 billion in revenue was generated from U.S. porn sites in 2006
* $89/second is spent on porn
* 72% of porn viewers are men
* 260 new porn sites go online daily

$89/second is spent on porn… what if it is spent for right cause… like for water, food and education in third world.
