Kaspersky is my all time favorite Antivirus/Internet Security, I’ve been using it since from three years and I’ve got not a single problem with it, I tried Many antiviruses like Norton Antivirus, AVG, Avast etc but non of them really helped to keep my computer clean and running, either they used to slow down my computer or fail to catch under covers worms & Trojans.

1. So first Download Chinese version of Kaspersky Antivirus 2010
2. Get the Activation keys
3. Activate it
4. and the Change Chinese Language to English Language

How to Change Chinese Language to English Language

1. Open Kaspersky>Settings>Options, Uncheck ‘Enable Self Defense’ option.
2. Click Ok and Exit from Kaspersky.
3. Goto C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010\Skin\loc
4. You’ll see 2 folders “en” and “sch”. Rename en to sch & sch to en and Restart your computer.
5. Done
6. Enjoy

One Last tip : The best way to enjoy 100% protection of Kaspersky is to buy license Key it is cheap and once you buy it you’ll get 100% peace of mind as Protection of computer is something which can’t put on stake with key generators or trial resetters and trust me these Kaspersky guys are very smart enough to put each and every loose Keys into black listed keys list.

This question really bothers me so I’m writing post on it -

Today my friend asked me

“ how to delete FB acount permanenetly?”

I said “goto settings-account settings- Deactivate Account”

then she said “that only does the de-activation, becomes active when again clicked… wanna remove permanenetly”

Today I was trying to capture screen shots of whole Webpage……

I knew that it can be done but not sure how

so i tired to find out

I find out following two good  method to capture screenshots of whole long webpage

1) For firefox – there is a addon

once u install it, u need to right click on page to take shots of whole screen or you can also select specific portion of any webpage. but one problem quality aint that good.

2) Another one  for all browsers, kind of small application software 1 MB size

quality is too good, only problem is that u can screenshots of public URLs only like I can not take screen shots of my private Facebook homepage.

I was googling about ways to publish RSS feed into my blog, I was trying to accumulate snippets of all my favorite blogs in a single blog page to read them instead of any external feed readers.

Yesterday I installed Ubuntu Linux OS, everything went smooth, it hardly takes few minutes to install Ubuntu. Later I installed Wine to run Windows apps (Wine is an Open Source implementation of the Windows API on top of X and Unix). First I tried to run UltraSurf cause without it I can’t even able to breathe coz our network pipeline is so much choked with firewalls and censorship I can’t even check my mails on Gmail.

So here is easy steps to run Ultrasurf in Ubuntu and Mac

Ultrasurf for Ubuntu Linux OS

1. Install Wine

2. Download the necessary dll files
mfc42.dll
msvcp60.dll

Note: you can easily find them by Googling but when I downloaded from a site and used them it showed following error:

“The ordinal 6880 could not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42.DLL”

so my suggestions is to copy them from your windows operating system from file location ->C://windows/System

3. Copy the two dll files to
~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system
~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32

Note: if you go to file system and type ~/.wine at location bar then your hidden wine folder will get open then you can find above folders for pasting your necessary dll files.

4. Now run latest Ultrasurf and make sure settings like following screen shots.

Note: Goto options-enable Do not use IE option, set your networks proxy setting and then exit

5. Goto system-preferences-Network Proxy, Change your system proxy address to 127.0.0.1 and port to 9666

6. Now run Ultrasurf once again and enjoy the freedom

Note: while running Ultrasurf in Ubuntu it takes sometime cause it process through wine, just have little patience if it ain’t run.

Ultrasurf for Mac OSx

Just install the wine for Mac version and follow the above steps.

Good news Ultrasurf is much faster in Ubuntu than windows.

God! this happened second time with me first time when this happend I simply ran virus scan and it got fixed but this time it ain’t so I decided to write about it.

it’s like two edge knife at one edge it helps to protect your files and at other edge some michivious virus disable your “Show Hidden Files and Folders” options which you can’t able to enable no matter what you do and your protected files  remain protected even from yourself. 

Here is simple three solutions

1st Back Up Your Registry before editing, just in case….

Solution 1   - 

Click Start => Run type in Regedit press OK.

Click:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER
• Software
• Microsoft
• Windows
• CurrentVersion
• Explorer
• Advanced
• Hidden

In the right hand area, double click hidden and change the value to 1.

Exit Regedit

Now try changing Show hidden files and folders in Tools => Options.

Solution 2

Click Start => Run type in Regedit press OK.

Click:

• HKey_Local_Machine
• Software
• Microsoft
• Windows
• CurrentVersion
• Explorer
• Advanced
• Folder
• Hidden
• SHOWALL

Now right click on CheckedValue and click Delete.

Right click and hover over New then select Dword Value call it CheckedValue.

Right click on CheckedValue and choose Modify, under ‘Value Data’ type in 1.

Exit Regedit

Restart your computer.

Now try changing Show hidden files and folders in Tools => Options.

Solution 3

I was experimenting with PC tools Spyware doctor downloaded from Google pack. Soon I found my .exe files are not working, i just can’t able to access any .exe files, no browser, no program files absolutely nothing even msconfig start file. for few hours it gave me a big headache 1st i thought it’s a virus attack  i tried to run stinger,  anti viruses but nothing was working.

Every time I was clicking exe files I was getting an error message – “This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options” later I downloaded EXE File Association Fix to Restore default association for EXE files from other computer and thanks to almighty god it fixed up. later I scanned my computer i found 143 spywares and viruses.
