Stunning internet pornograhy stats
I got this from techcrunch.com couldn’t resist sharing this video created by GOOD Magazine. It is stunning that how much actual money flows through porn and how many people are involved in the industry:
* 89% of porn is created in the U.S.
* $2.84 billion in revenue was generated from U.S. porn sites in 2006
* $89/second is spent on porn
* 72% of porn viewers are men
* 260 new porn sites go online daily
$89/second is spent on porn… what if it is spent for right cause… like for water, food and education in third world.

Maybe if porn site subscriptions included an option to plant a tree along with the offer the world would be a better place, right?

Yeah, you are very right. If such a huge anmount of money was spent on the right things, the world would have progressed to a huge extent.
